Artist History
Tom Mosher and Brendan McGroggan have been playing in a range of bands for three years, the most recent being the pop/punk sensation Shelden. After playing with such acts as Operation Cliff Clavin, Reach the Sky, Lounge, The Ataris and Stretch Armstrong, Tom and Brendan decided to create a new sound. After making a few member changes which added a much broader range of influences, the emotional charged sound of For Years Apart was born in the Spring of 2000. After two months of intense writing and playing, For Years Apart recorded their first demo CD at Fork In Hand Studios in Boston, Massachusetts, began playing shows with acts including Lounge, Big D and the Kids Table, Four Heads Deep, The Stryder and Midtown. |
