Artist description
EDAMAME began as a way for VIR UNIS and INTERSTITIAL, normally associated with keyboards and electronics, to cut loose on live drums and bass guitar - while still going for an ambient groove sound. TIMOTHY MCKEAGE later joined the project bringing his refined echo-loop-guitar playing into the mix. The live jams are multi-tracked straight to hard drive. VIR UNIS and INTERSTITIAL handle the editing, refining, and recording of additional instruments to the mix. In some cases the "live" sound makes its way to the forefront of a song, in others the original takes are mutated into completely different atmospheres. |
