    Artist History
Dei Sub started as the college distraction of its creator in 1991, and has evolved into a one-man display of eclectic musical talents and pounding grooves. Dei Sub's first vinyl EP "One" was released in 1996 by Defective Records, and was followed by three more releases on the same label: three tracks on the double remix EP "Who's Who? The Defective DJ Who Remixes," the EP "Criminally Groovin' Too," and one track on the "Defiltered" remix EP. Since then Dei Sub has experimented with atmospheric harmony, minimalist melody, and rushing, flowing beats.

    Press Reviews
Dei Sub is Anthony Ruggeri of Philadelphia. "Criminally Groovin Too" is the culmination of this guy's explosion onto the techno scene. His first release, "One" (DR015), also on Defective, met with rave reviews last year, and he stole the show on the highly praised DJ Who remix double 12" (DR.018), where his remixing talents were featured on three different tracks. - Defective Records
