Artist History Recorded four solo demo albums and joined the musicians collective DRGA-DRGA in 2000. Bertin is now working on his next solo album wich will be a bit more experimental and divers then the previous four.

Press Reviews thuisknutselpop BERTIN Straight From The Horses Mouth ([drga-drga] www.drgadrga.com) Het [drga-drga] label is wel enigszins vergelijkbaar met LivingRoom Records. Het herbergt een aantal acts die in de huiselijke omgeving aan de eigen muziek werken. Bertin is er daar één van. Hij brengt regelmatig cd's uit van zijn muzikale pennenvruchten. Met ingehouden en sowieso minimale begeleiding brengt Bertin zijn liedjes die wel ergens in een soort lo-fi land thuishoren (een beetje Smog herkennen we er bijvoorbeeld wel in). Het minimale is daarbij soms de sterke, maar soms ook de zwakke kant van de liedjes. Bertin moet af en toe uitkijken niet teveel in een soort éénvinger systeem te blijven hangen. In de nummers waarbij de akoestische gitaar de hoofdmoot inbrengt, komen Bertin's kwaliteiten het best tot uiting, want mooie liedjes schrijven kan hij wel. (RB)
