    Artist description
Fusing many different influences into one complete whole, Bachelorette is at the forefront of new music to be heard coming out of the Montgomery and Bucks County areas. With heartfelt and emotional vocals and lyrics at the vanguard, melodic - yet edgy guitars and flowing bass rounded out by a tribal - esque percussive sound, Bachelorette offers quite a unique listening experience. Whether it be the moody, yet sultry "Less Than 3," the funky - rock hybrid of "Stop & Go," or the melodic "Frantic," almost anyone's ears can appreciate Bachelorette.

    Artist History
As twenty year-old guitarist Ron Lavan instinctively checked his equipment before bachelorette hit the stage, he had a moment to recollect about how he got to where he was; playing music, live, for people of different generations. With a smile to himself, he remembered all those hours slaving over music theory and guitar instruction. He thought back to when it was just himself and drummer, Tracy Houser, now eighteen, three years ago playing in the basement they fondly dubbed their practice space. He remembered how they stuck together as a duet for sometime before meeting up with now, nineteen year old Laura Martin, who would then go on to demonstrate her prowess on vocals as she took over the microphone. The lights started to dim...Ron glanced at bassist Scott Signorino, but Scott wasnt looking, he was too busy tuning his five string bass. He remembered all the persistence it took to get Scott to join the band to complete the circle of musicians. Ron remembered the many other local shows he had done live sound engineering for, all the while dreaming behind the console that maybe one day, he would have the chance to prove himself on the live local band circuit. He then thought back to all of the changes the band went through musically, and how once everyone's influences were pooled into one complete whole, the sound of Bachelorette really became it's own entity. Glancing up at all of the members once more after tuning his guitar, Ron thought of everything that each of the members brought to the band. The time Ron put into instructing and training himself properly on guitar allowed him to compliment vocalist Laura Martin's natural talent for harmony and melody. The accurate recognition of pitch exuded by bassist Scott Signorino definitely added to the writing process and when coupled with drummer Tracy Houser's strong feel for rythym and groove enabled the band to further expand it's musical boundaries and endeavors. As Ron moved to switch his amp off of standby, he turned to the crowd...they were waiting, waiting to be entertained. After all, this was their Friday night. He recognized a few of the kids standing in the audience, those two girls with the MXPX shirts on, they were from the show back in June at the Newtown Church of God's Love; that kid with the Korn shirt on and the dreadlocks, he was at the show they did with Manhunt at the Telford Burough Hall. Slowly, the old feeling of standing in front of a crowd slowly subsided as Ron moved his hands into the opening chords of "If", and just let himself go. Three years of hard work and dedication had brought the band to this point, and it was time to give the people what they wanted.
