Artist description
"Shooting stars" describes most rock stars. The revolutionary is the one who remains like a fixed luminary in the heavens. Hendrix revolutionized the guitar. Von Cello is revolutionizing the cello. Aaron was an up and coming rock guitarist in his teens wh en he quit his band and started practicing the cello day and night. His fans expressed sorrow, but Aaron had a vision: he would bring the cello into the center stage of rock! He went on to become an established classical cellist/composer, publishing 12 m usic books with Oxford University Press and giving perfomances internationally. His recognition as a rock artist has been confirmed by his status as a Yamaha Artist and a D'Addario Artist. His recognition as an important contemporary musician was confirmed by his inclusion in Who's Who In America. Occasionally, classical musicians cross over to pop: Von Cello crossed over to classical...and now he's back! |
