Artist History
Shawn and Chris know each other from early childhood and have now been friends for 21 years. They had their first band back in 1989, and learned about 5 songs. Chris then played around the Atlanta scene for a few years until leaving to go cross country. Shawn worked in community theatre for several years. Then in 1996, in Breckenridge Colorado, Chris and Shawn teamed up with some good friends and had fun playin in the mountains as Buzz's Bakery, but eventually, starvation broke up the band, so everyone went their separate ways. The Divine Engine is based in Atlanta Georgia, and includes Bryan Buchanan on drums. Bryan became the last piece of the puzzle after spending four years at the Atlanta College of Art. He hails from Texas. We've been together now for about 10 months, and we are still havin' fun. |
