Artist History You want history? Revanon has been in the game since 1986. There has been alot of struggles through the years. He has faced alot of people who have promised one thing and failed to deliver. From producers losing beats and not giving him recouping options to engineers that say they can deliver a certain amount of quality only to look like beginners themselves. I don't think it was Revanon's drive and desire that held him back. Sometimes you depend on others to come through and they can't. Revanon has performed in various talent shows from Florida to New York and has performed throughout the state of Colorado. He has been approached by two Independent Labels who offered contracts but due to his belief's had to turn them down. Revanon is not ego driven or fueled by reputation. He does music for the love and for the joy of performing in front of the public. He has had the opportunity to be the first HIPHOP artist to be featured in interview form on Colorado Spring's main radio station MAGIC 98.9 and have his song, "State of Emergency" played on TOP 40 air waves. He co-starred in "Inspecting Carol" a play performed at the Lon Chaney Theater in Colorado Springs. Currently, he is setting up gigs within his state of Colorado and is looking for venues across America. He participated in his first emcee battle, "Who's Shinin'" in October and is poised to make several emcee battle appearances. All this, without a promoter, lawyer, or manager, Revanon has been able to pull quite a string of impressive venue appearances such as the Soiled Dove, Starlight Theater, Accoustic Coffee Lounge and is scheduled to appear at Denver's Bluebird Theater, and Pueblo's Chief theater this December. Revanon's is a well rounded emcee who has a LESS is MORE approach to hiphop. He is now networking with a group of more known UNDERGROUND producers and emcees to further his resume.
