Hmm, somehow it seems, Calani has a good nose for finding new and auspicious Industrial/ EBM bands. First Lilith’s Son from Argentina, now we have got Lungworm from Liverpool, UK... This dark project involves 2 test subjects , MK_Ultra (1 0f 2 ), currently the drum tech for Anathema/ Cradle Of Filth, also playing drums in Clan VC; and Sp0ok (2 of 2 ), who has already lent his voice to the legendary G.G.F.H.; so these guys are not at all rookies in this business. Both already sound pretty professional on their first release. They serve us modern, sometimes hectic, always sick and sometimes more drawn out EBM with a clearly industrial influence. Theyself call their soundcreations Deadwave. These 6 tracks, some pretty long, convince thru a dark-sterile and menacing acting atmosphere laden with sound effects that reminds from time to time of Frontline Assembly during their „Flavour Of The Weak“ - phase, even though Lungworm interpret their tracks significantly less playful and occasional way harsher. In doing so, the more rhythmical orientated and the quiet parts are well-balanced to each other, so that DEADNECK TERRORISM never gets boring. Also the voice is well-fitting, ( except the last track BIO -this being a spoken word piece ,an apparently " leaked audio report" explaining the appearance of LUNGWORM ) , which sounds pretty „distorted“ and more in the background, but fits in the atmosphere well. For relaxing, there are yet some clean parts and some well-inserted spoken samples, so that the change is not neglected. About production and presentation you can’t grumble aswell. So I think it’s just a question of time, until the first label will knock on their door. There are already interesting offers, so the tracks NEVER LEAVE A TRACE and BLUE PRINT/ RIP THE FACE OFF will be used in the Cradle Of Fear film. It’s also possible to find these tracks on a soundtrack, so far there will be one. Those who don’t want to wait or don’t want to miss " the new strain of killer music", should have a look at: http://www.lungworm.net standout tracks: DISCONNECTED/ RESURRECTED ; SENSE OF HATE/ ANOTHER BLACKENED FACE
