Artist description gemuesebuerger is the soloproject of a lonely rock guitar player who is playing out the creativity, that comes from deep inside. The mood is very mainly dark and empty and uses elements of minimalism. Very personal material against the commercial mainstream. So the sound does not reach everybodies acceptance, but for my special part the few people, who like it are more important to me... yeah, nearly forgot: All lyrics are written in german (At least i will try to launch an english version of my homepage soon)!

Artist History First running the project parallel while working with several bands, it gained real essence in April 2000 when i left my main music group MARVIN. Now im playing also in a *punk unplugged* project called BH-U BLUTHUSTEN UNPLUGGED, but my concentration is focussed on working out the composed songs to release a CD album at the end of the year. In september a split CD with songs from GEMUESEBUERGER and BH-U BLUTHUSTEN UNPLUGGED will be released by a small german record label called PUNKALONIA.

Group Members Leif (it´s me) is doing all stuff: vocals, guitar, bass, drum programming, lyrics and songwriting. In some pieces my living community fellow Tanja is taking part. I´m anytime looking out for musicians who like to take part in the project! In short future i will create a song with two electronic avantgarde musicians from Hamburg called TANNENGRUEN - this work will run over the net and email ONLY! Other artist from Cologne will play their parts as well.I have musical experience for about 15 years on different instruments (alternative bands, classic violoncello in the orchestra and soundtrack composition with sample- and MIDI-sequencing).

Albums 1st one will be released at the end of the year 2000.
