Artist History In 1979 as the echoes of the English punk rock scene took hold in America Friction was born in a small steel mill town in Central Pa when 4 working class kids got together to play the new music they loved. Although the band never rose above cult status, to their fans they were a voice fighting against the boredom and hopelessness of wage slave existence.
