Artist description
Drew Slatton (Tenor) has thrilled opera audiences across the United States as well as in Europe and
South Korea.
Of his portrayal of Pollione in "Norma" with Hawaii Opera Theater, Ruth O. Bingham of the Honolulu
Star-Bulletin said, " Drew Alan Slatton deserves praise for his lovely tenor voice and for delivering a fine
performance." For Connecticut Opera's production of "Pagliacci," Steve Metcalfe of the Hartford Courant
said, "Slatton's work here as Canio was thrilling. His "Vesti la giubba" was a heart-tugging, scalp-prickling
triumph, solidly holding its own against the dozens of versions already in opera's dense historical ether...his
subsequent emotional disintegration during the play-within-a-play was an alarming and vivid piece of
acting."
