Melding the acoustic roots of piano and guitar singer-songwriter veins of the early 90's Cinnamon Drafthouse has sought to express things subtly, attempting to creat a fabric with their music they can then embroider with the image of their lyrics.

Artist History Cinnamon Drafthouse had its beginnings with the breakup of the early 90's band Whirl out of Virginia Beach. Wishing to explore new veins of songwriting found in their popular tunes Highway 1 and Rainbow, the remaining members came together. Borrowing their name from a mispronunciation of local establishement the Cinema and Drafthouse they sought to explore the path blazed before them by influential bands like REM, Bourgeouis Tagg and others.
