Artist History Frank Saranovich, from Juneau, Alaska, and Sean Siner from Rhode Island, met in Juneau in 1990, played in a cover band called "69"!In 1993, Saranovich and Siner formed their own original project called "The Groove Jewel's." After a few years apart, S & S returned to each others presence to form AKSS. In 1999 AKSS went into the studio to record their first album on minidisc.A year in the making and all yours for the taking!
