Artist History Band consists of two primary members and one or two others from time to time.Tim Aker and Ed Jones are the songwriters. Both are from Roanoke, Va. Both Tim and Ed cut their respective teeth on 60's and 70's hard rock.Tim and Ed met in the early 1980's and played in some bar bands in the Roanoke area and the neighboring states from time to time.The original band was called "Renegade" and it was a down and dirty bar band when that meant something. When that band ended in the 1980's, Tim and Ed set about writing their own songs.In the early 1990's they hooked up with vocalist Chuck Johnson. Most of these recordings are the result of that collaboration. Tim and Ed wrote all of the songs and play on the recording.It's been a long hard road but worth it.
