Artist History I started out playing metal back in the early 80's. In 1988, I began to seriously consider the claims of Christ on my life, and this brought the end of my progressive thrash metal band, HYD (www.mp3.com/hyd). I formed a Christian thrash band, but soon found that I needed a sabbatical from the intense music I had been into, and just needed to get to know the Lord Jesus. In late 1991, after half a year of NO MUSICAL INVOLVEMENT, I was blessed to hear a beautiful trio of musicians called Sabbath Rest. Their music gave me new hope that I could again find a use for my musical talent in serving God. (At this point, I had pretty much given up on all forms of electrified music). I went out, bought a classical guitar, and began to play these simple Christian Folk songs by Sabbath Rest. I began to find other similar artists that I liked as well. John Michael Talbot, Jennifer Jill (Schwirzer), Matthew McVane, Rich Mullins, Michael Card. As my guitar skills began to catch up with my compositional skills, I began to write new music of my own, and as time passed, I also began to add other influences that my wife and I were falling in love with--Celtic music, for example. Gradually, I began to move back toward the use of electrified instruments as well. My vision of music now is to combine the realm of acoustic and electric instruments so that they blend beautifully, and God is glorified.

Additional Info I must apologize for the quality of the recordings. The SONGS themselves are GREAT, I believe, but these are "live" takes, and there are mistakes :( BUT HAVE NO FEAR!
