    Artist History
Mobile was formed within the belly of the world's multicultural synthesis, Salvador - Brazil, in August of 2000. Simple as you get. Initially as a project idealized by Serjonis and Enio Verodutti, ex-members from local group Lynch, Mobile recorded three acoustic songs almost 100% live and released their Sampler 2000. Then, Serjonis relocated to Los Angeles for a two month period... After coming back, discretely promoting it via net and obtaining quite good responses worldwide, he asked Enio to bring Mobile back to life. The project finally turned into an established band when ex-Lynch drummer Paulo Silva returned from Pasadena and bassist Renato Nunes also joined them. Molding their primitive acoustic aesthetic into electric sounds was their main task later. Funky vibes, super mellow layers, slight programming and dense textures added to a rich legacy of popular Brazilian music show up on their new songs. Posterior to shaping up previous material and writing new stuff they self-produced their Demo 2001. The CD contains three new songs plus versions for four older songs and was praised by members of bands such as Nullset (Grand Royal Recordings) and Unfashion (Uprising Records). "We wanna take our music to a new level of involvement with people. We want them to feel every single word we sing and every note we play, look into their eyes and make them question everything. Spontaneous emotion and truth are not very common these days...", says singer Serjonis when asked to define Mobile's musical and lyrical concepts. It doesn't matter, however, what is said when trying to describe the incredible passionate music done by these gentlemen: it transcends all rhetoric definitions. Mobile strives today to earn a spot of deserved recognition at the music business through its soothing mellow structures, heartfelt lyrics and expansive rhythms. We shall now expect intense net and street promotion while they prepare to launch their official site and to record their debut album, a musical blender to be definitely looked upon, sometime in the future. Emotion, simplicity and good taste are what they are about.
