Artist description Life in the Balance was formed by guitarist/singer/songwriter Chris Nicoletti in late 1999. He recruited bassist Matt Mueller and drummer Dan Roveto joined the band in 2000. The three New Jersey musicians' diverse tastes and influences can easily be heard in their music: acoustic guitar with pop-like hooks, percussion-flavored drumming and driving, melodic bass lines are the backdrop for Chris' observations on life, relationships and being. LITB's music can alternate between sober reflection and upbeat rock, but always contains memorable melodies fortified with a strong, danceable backbeat.
