    Artist description
A metal band that defies genres and limitations. Lejion has coined the term "any-metal" meaning that we play all types. No song is limited to being say a death or a thrash song, instead we just mix it all together to create some original tunes. One song may remind you of Cannibal Corpse or Slayer while another will remind you of Priest of Maiden. We have basically the whole band writing songs and adding their influences and musical tastes all into each song.

    Artist History
Lejion began in 1996 when Panther Wyvern decided to set into motion his idea to form a metal band whose primary theme would be a parody of religion. The basic concept is that the band members play characters in the war between heaven and hell, and we tell our story through the songs. The central character, Skullface Omnibus, is an angel cast out of heaven during Satan’s Fall through no fault of his own. The illusion that God is fair and good is shattered for Skullface, and he takes it upon himself to liberate all creatures from the tyranny of God by waging war against God and heaven. The problem is, however, that he is completely incompetent. The first person to be brought into the project was rhythm guitarist Tim Hayes. At this point the format for Lejion was set. The songs would be anything in the metal genre, and perhaps some material outside of the genre if the story called for it. The songs would tell a story, and the story would have a definite beginning and ending. The theme for the story would be religious parody, focusing mainly on Christianity, and would include elements of horror and comedy. A few various other band members came and went over the next year or so, but it was not until late 1997 that the band was first fully formed, with Santiago Lachuga on bass and Joel Cruz on drums. In October of 1998, the band finally played its first show. In early 1999, both Santiago and Joel left the band. Welden Roberts soon joined the band as drummer, and for a while, Lejion played as a three piece with Panther playing bass. In May, E.J. Ortiz signed on as bassist, allowing Panther to return to lead guitar. In October of 1999, Mark joined as lead guitarist, and Panther focused solely on vocals. Shortly afterwards Cary Gordon agreed to be the bands manager. The goals of the band have remained mostly unchanged through the years. The concept and story are continuously being developed and refined, and the band is constantly striving to improve the songs and the stageshow.
