Artist description
Intelligent, impassioned lyrics weave through an ethereal swirl of Middle Eastern-influenced alt-rock. Kim's expert vocals alternate between a delicate flutter and a soul-wrenching cry; coupled with her five-piece band (including cello and violin), Kim's Fable is a powerhouse that leaves the listener nothing less than spellbound and "Breathless". |

Artist History
After four years as one of Nashville's most successful live bands, showcasing in New York and flirting with record deals, Kim's Fable was staring success in the face. Unfortunately at the time, Kim (then) Beasley only found herself losing her sanity as she fought accusations of compromising and sabotaging the band she had worked so hard to build into one of Music City's most beloved local treasures. Exhausted and emotionally spent, she bravely decided to walk away from the music business and take a hiatus to regroup, refocus and replenish. Now a year or so later, Kim has married, searched her soul, rebuilt her Fable from the ground up and has returned to the Nashville music scene in full force. To quote Venus Envy of In Review, "It takes a lot of faith, determination and strength to leave what seems safe and start over. Safety isn't always the best bet. Safety can wear you down until you forget who you are. Kim Collins knows exactly who she is." |
