Artist History Showing the musical independence that she still uses today, Heather Bobb began her voice lessons at the age of eight by picking up the phone book and dialing Rita Cavell Studios in Bala Cynwyd. She remained with Rita to the beginning of high school all the while being recognized for her dramatic vocal abilities. Now, at the age of 29, she realizes that music is her true passion. Independently, she found herself qualified accompanists who matched her talents. Heather has written several songs and developed an MP3 website (www.mp3.com/heatherbobb). She has been a featured performer in local venues and developed an extensive music network that consists of fellow singer/songwriters, musicians, producers and a member of the R&B group Blackstreet in addition to doing a guest group performance on WXPN. Heather has also networked herself into top-notch recording studios in the area to view the recording process first hand. Heather's varied singer/songwriter style has been influenced from a combination of Barbara Streisand, Patty Griffin, Alanis Morissette, Pink, Donna Summer, and Kelly Price. From this choice list of influences and her emerging talent, she is ready to make her niche in the growing regional music scene.
