Artist History
Formed by the members of several formidable Connecticut bands in the early 90's, Gravityhead has an extensive track record. Endless performing on the East Coast has landed them gigs opening for national acts such as Big Head Todd and The Monsters , B.A.D., Cheap Trick, and Extreme. They caught the ear of heavy-hitter Don Gilmore, super producer of Lit, Eve6 and Temple of the Dog.This puts Gravityhead in some powerful company. The sessions produced four amazing tracks, winning a favorable review in Billboard magazine and tons of local airplay. The song My Beautiful Life was even featured in a Jean Country ad. Gravityhead's driving guitars and rich lyrical content make a brave noise. The result? Hard rock with more hooks than a tackle box. |
