Artist History
Chris Flinchbaugh began playing guitar and almost immediately writing songs at the age of 14. Since then he's played guitar, bass, has wrote for, and sang lead and backup for a few Central Pennsylvania and Southern Ohio acts including most notably The Less Miserables (www.welcome.to/tlm). In that span Chris had also found time to play a few select solo shows to tryout new and different material based more on guitar, vocal, and with him singing it. "Writing songs for other people to sing while often equally fullfilling is totally different than getting to sing the words and melodies yourself... working with people like Aaron Royer (lead guitar/songwriter for The Less Miserables)on guitar parts, vocal arrangments, and song writing and observing more and more the way life plays out in the interaction of people has rekindled my love for telling all kinds of stories through song." Chris is currently working on demos for a full length album to be released hopefully sometime in 2001 called POSTMARKED FOR YESTERDAY on a label to be found. |
