Son of the famous Indian music director Bappi Lahiri.Bappa produces a unique fusion of the rhythms and melodies of the world. Breaking the barriers of culture and time, Bappa creates a blend of East/West, Dance/Classical, Trance/Jazz.His work uses classical vocalists from India, Jazz moods and dance rhythms being a tabla, drums and synthesizer player himself. If you really believe music knows no boundaries,you'll love Bappa's music. He demonstrates a different flavour of this in each track he composes. |

Artist History
Bappa started composing and performing in 1995 at the age of 10. It was then he composed the title track for the TV serial 'Dial P for Police'. This track was performed by the legendary Asha Bhosle at Sahara Studios in Mumbai.His first film composition was at the age of 14 starring Govinda and Raveena Tandon, with singers Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan.He is a trained drummer and has performed in the sound track for the film 'Sahar'. |
