Artist History
Created in 1991 by Ash & Neil Ridley, Backlash recorded "Cover To Cover" (a collection of well known Rock Standards) shortly afterwards. 1993 saw their first lineup change which was followed by an almost total lineup change in 1994. A slight change in musical direction resulted in Backlash's next recording "We're Back....lash" around 1995. At this point Backlash decided to introduce their own songs in addition to the cover material that had brought them this far. So in 1996 they recorded "Wedge Of Insanity" a collection of their own material. Three further lineup minor changes were to occur before the final line up was established in 1997. Unfortunately Backlash disbanded in late 1998 due to personnel relocation and the evident 'death' of the local live music circuit. |
