Artist description
I started making this music because I wanted something fast and relaxing at the same time; something that would induce some semblance of a "zone" state that I could listen to while being creative. Part of the reason why I like broken beats is that the brain naturally syncs up with music. Being able to experience states of mind that are outside of the normal range, I think, is a key part of real creativity. Listening to rhythms that change unexpectedly is one way to do that -- entraining yourself to something that your brain can't lock in on. |
