Artist History Trip Toys began in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1998. Joel and Beau are veterans of the local music scene and had played together in bands before. Doug has also had musical experience in bands of the region before joining up with Trip Toys. Justin was relatively new to playing music upon joining the band, but soon proved his adept ability at forming melodies and creative lyrics. Having played venues around Knoxville and the surrounding area, Trip Toys are contemplating making a geographic change to the more populous and musically rich city of Nashville, seeking that ever elusive record deal.
