Artist description
The Meadowlarks are an eco-friendly folk group, whose playing and singing is dedicated to making this world a better place for all living things. We are especially concerned with the fate of all beautiful and helpless things, and consider it our duty to speak out for those things that are beautiful, and helpless, and that cannot speak for themselves and so need people like us to speak for them to people who are, well, not like us. Only through such consciousness-raising can the cruelty that marks so much of modern life be changed into the niceness that represents all of our true selves. Large corporations are a culture of cruelty and exploitation. Their campaign against free Internet music is one example. Support free internet music! Then boycott major record labels and buy or download only from environmentally friendly and caring musicians and record labels. You CAN make a difference. Feel free to upload, download, copy, broadcast, or Napsterize this song, so long as you credit The Meadowlarks and -- where you can -- the URL for this webpage. |
