Artist description
Social Hero is the explosive alt pop/rock triofresh out of NYC. We have blended decades of old school rock, alternative modern rock, prog rock, and funk to create catchy up-tempo songs. It's rocklike you haven't heard for years. More important, however, is our stage presence--that's right, we have one. A synthesis of glam-rock and out-and-outraw energy makes our live shows events to remember--true spectacles of sound and space. Check out ourstreaming video of one of our recent performancesat www.musictv.com, or better yet, see us around thecity to understand the social and hero of SOCIAL HERO. |

Artist History
Social Hero was sparked as a side project from thehard rock band Electric Circus. The singer and guitaristDave Lloyd and bassist Brandon Lotti hooked up withDavid Burgreen on drums to form a punchy, energetictrio. Burgreen soon left to pursue his own musicalaspirations, and was soon replaced by Mr. HomerSteinweiss. Homer brought a good deal of funkinfluence to Social Hero, and it is generally agreed that he was the missing piece to the SocialHero puzzle. Now armed with songs having catchyvocal lines, racy guitar licks, pumping basslines, and Homer's phat beats, Social Hero is releasing their self-titled debut. Check out "Breathe," ourfirst single. |
