    Artist History
No singer in the past decade has emerged onto the music scene with more natural talent than Signorello. Reinventing the "Big Band" sound with a voice that is smooth, solid and clear as glass, audiences sense his life-long passion for singing and music.Signorello was five years old when he fell in love with the Big Band hits of his parents’ era. Mastering trumpet, piano and guitar before he was a teenager, he dreamed of a music career while accompanying the recordings of Big Band greats like Glenn Miller, the Dorsey Brothers and Frank Sinatra. But as Signorello grew older, he put aside his dream of becoming a professional entertainer. At the age of thirty, he was successfully running his own hi-tech company. His thoughts returned to music and to performing live. Since the mid-90’s, Signorello has been singing professionally in the Washington, DC area including performances at Blues Alley & The State Theatre. Signorello recently debuted in New York City at S.O.B.’s, The Red Room in New Orleans, Rendezvous in Atlanta and he hit a home run performing the national anthem at Pro-Player Stadium in Miami at a recent Florida Marlins and Cincinnati Reds game. Additionally, he has secured national distribution for his records through Redeye Distribution, one of the fastest growing "indie" distribution companies in the U.S. Signorello’s second CD, Martini Dance, was produced by Richie Cannata (formerly of Billy Joel). In addition to eight great standards, the album features two Signorello originals, "Martini Dance" and "Cool One." These songs are a mere glimpse of the musical direction Signorello is taking -- his next album will feature all original material and will be released in late 2000.For concert bookings and more info, call David Triano at 804.378.4669 and visit us on the web at www.signorello.com.

Signorello is as close as Washington gets to the Sinatra,Bennett/Torme school of vocalizing: Washington PostSignorello's "Martini Dance," is chock full of brassy and boppy arrangements, the originals feature 90's energy and have more than enough presence to stand toe-to-toe with the standards, Journal Newspapers
