Artist description Metal is the soul of Phonetica, collectively and individually. Influences from member to member differ slightly, though straying seldom from beneath the Banner of Heaviness. We differ from our peers, at least locally, mainly in that we are more on the Classic Metal vein than most new bands. Not that this is calculated, or committed out of snobbery (as some self-proclaimed "different" bands it seems), this is just the way the shit fell down, man. We dig it. People dig it here. Artist History Phonetica is a band of four dudes brought together almost entirely by accident.Formerly known as Ônde, four of five members hooking up while stationedtogether in the US Army; we've lost two members to Permanent Change of Station,our drummer is now a happy civilian, we changed our name, got a new bass player,now we wait for the singers Date of Separation.Our ties to the US Army, like 'em or not, have anchored usto the Fort Hood, TX area for the last year.
