Artist History Jonas Kukkonen recently won the 3rd price in the "2nd International Piano Competition Gaillard" in France. He has performed in Latvia, Hungary, Austria, Spain and Finland, and recently performed a serie of of highly succesful concerts in the U.S.A, in Hancock, Milwaukee, Chicago and Minneapolis. Jonas K. started playing the piano at the age of 8, and is currently 21, studying at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. He has been awarded prizes also in the Fazer Piano Competition, and twice in the Helmi Vesa Competition.
