Artist History
Jeff Gastineau - Vocals, keyboards, guitars. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Resided in Columbus, Ohio and Minneapolis before relocating to Charlotte, NC. Member of several extremely successful regional acts including Scram, Money, and The Press. These acts were attendance record-holders at the largest clubs in the area during their existence and opened for acts such as Toto, Joe Perry Project, John Waite, Robin Trower, Molly Hatchet, Night Ranger, and others. Guitarist/keyboardist with Scram, which released one album and toured throughout the midwest. Guitarist/keyboardist with Money, joined group while they were preparing to release their third album with EMI/Heavy Metal America. The album was reviewed by Kerrang Magazine in Europe and the song "Turn and Walk Away" was charted as a top new single. Previous releases were on the independent Earthtone label. Guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist with The Press, which released an EP for 3001 Music and performed throughout the midwest. Appeared on WLVQ (Columbus, Ohio) Q•FM•96 Hometown Album Projects 7, 8, and 9 with Durzo & Keen, Gastineau & Harriman, and The Press, respectively. Performed hundreds of synthesizer and guitar concerts and clinics across the country for Korg Keyboards and Roland Musical Instruments. Produced and engineered Gastineau album as well as for various other artists including Royal Crescent Mob, The Press, Gastineau & Harriman, Eurogression, JB Bruck, Money, Durzo & Keen, Def Dee, Tetrec, IPYPU, Razor Penguins, Susan Kay Johnson , The Point, The Bellows, Le Danse Classical, Five Mighty People, Miss America Troupe, War Minister, Spirit Song, Donald Scales, Peggy Lacey, and Final Flight, among others. |
