Artist description eden Regained is a unique blend of several musical styles, melding the sort of change-ups in in mid-song attributed emo, with melodies, catches and hooks found in pop, alongside some of the aggressive guitar and screaming of modern metal and hardcore. The focus in recent times of the band musically is to make a good song, rather than try and pay homage to stylistic influences. Artist History The band was formed as a casual project in 1995, and following some personell changes ended up a serious musical venture for all still involved. The band has lightly toured in Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania and Indiana, having had the opportunities to play alongside many different types of bands, from national acts such as Every Day Life and Five Iron Frenzy, to local, central Ohio bands like Strong Side Red, and MJ12, and other indie bands Captain Nemo, Modus, and The Skavangelists. Their mini albums (eps) have been reviewed in several magazines and scattered across the web. eR's music has been featured on several CD compilations, including twice on HM magazine's monthly CD, Kingdom Records 4th Compilation of Indie Bands, and 7 Ball magazine's "Gas Collection". The non-categorical, genre defying style is a result of the different members influences along the way, combined with an attempt to continue to make real, fresh, interesting and cutting edge music.
