Artist History DAKOTA WAS FOUNDED IN 1999 BY RANDY THOMAS AND RANDALLBORING. THEN ALONG CAME BROTHERS DAVID AND ROGER BLANKENSHIP TO COMPLETE THE SOUND OF DAKOTA. OVER THEYEARS THESE GUYS HAVE WORKED WITH SOME OF THE TOPBLUEGRASS ARTISTS IN THE BUSINESS, INCLUDING DAVEEVANS AND RIVERBEND, BOB PAISLEY AND SOUTHERN GRASS,AND JIMMY MARTIN. THEIR FIRST CD "LIVING LIKE A FOOL" HAS BEEN A HUGE SUCCESS.

Group Members Randall Boring, plays banjo, sings lead vocals, baritone and bass harmonies. Randy Thomas, plays mandolin, sings lead and baritone vocals. David Blankenship, plays rhythm guitar, sings lead, tenor and baritone vocals. Roger Blankenship, plays Bass, sings tenor and baritone harmonies.
