Artist History The "Project" began in 1990, when Irvin Foster was introduced to Mario Hemsley in Los Angeles, California. The two joined up and began recording in Mario's home studio. After writing a number of songs, they decided to release an independent CD. We all want others to understand us, and one of the great unifying forces is the sharing of experiences. The reality is that we all basically want the same things, and have to face the same struggles. We all have to learn to love and appreciate ourselves and others, and for most of us, this is a lifetime learning experience. What Irvin and I have done is to try to share some of our struggles and enlightenments, with the goal of entertaining, soothing, and perhaps inspiring others through the vehicle of music. Hopefully, others will be touched and affected as I have been touched and affected by artists I've enjoyed. I am reminded of Earth, Wind & Fire's "All About Love." For Irvin and myself, this has been a spiritual journey and all about personal growth. We are pleased and joyful now, just to know that we have actually completed one of our dreams
