Artist description
Before the gasface, there was Bitch Funky Sex Machine, a guitar fronted hardcore R&B outfit from dead center Huntington Beach, CA. BFSM released a full length CD entitled 'Love Bomb' in the early 90’s and gigged non-stop for 8 years with acts such as Korn, Sugar Ray, Sublime, etc., to name a few. After subsequent releases, including material being spotlighted in film and TV soundtracks (credits include UPN's 'The Watcher', HBO's hit series 'The Sopranos', and 1997's 'Hijacking Hollywood'), the creative force behind BFSM decided to move on. The gasface was born in early 2000 and has already built a strong local following. It’s a stripped down, low end thumping, heavy, power trio. Demos are on the streets. It's the beautiful shit. It's Black Sabbath meets Barry White. It's Marvin Gaye meets Helmet. It's got a spooky hip-hop flavor, and it's a soundtrack for doing evil things. Still not convinced..? It’s a six song demonstration, listen to it and worship. Worship the gasface. |
