Artist History
Formed out of the ashes of Moment of Truth, the San Luis Obispo, Calif. nativeband SNUBNOSE 32 has successfully released its long anticipated demo. Withexperience of playing with such diverse bands as Manhole, Type O Negative, Snot,System of a Down, Guttermouth, and X-Cops (Gwar), former M.O.T. membersJeremy D'Ambrosio (vocals) and Ryan Schwiebert (guitar) found Mark Hartz(drums) along with Mike McLaughlin (bass) in the latter part of 1997 and havepicked up where M.O.T. had left off, creating a sound which is better than ever. Coming straight out of the Bay Area, Hartz joined after his departure from hisband Flux, which had played with the likes of DRI. McLaughlin moved to SanLuis Obispo from Phoenix, AZ after playing with Teichiku/Rockarola artists,Intrinsic, which opened for the likes of Megadeth and Danzig. With the additionof McLaughlin, the SNUBNOSE 32 line-up was solidified. The SNUBNOSE 32 demo was entirely self-produced, mixed and engineered bythe band. They have been touring the California circuit to build up the band'sname, performing in such places as Los Angeles (Troubadour, Roxy, CoconutTeaser ), San Jose (Cactus Club), San Diego (Brick by Brick), Santa Barbara,Bakersfield and San Luis Obispo, while supporting such acts as Snot, Stanford Prison Experiment, Pro-Pain, Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer), Straightfaced, Juice, PapaRoach and Boy Hits Car. Over Labor Day Weekend, the band performed withover 50 bands and 30 DJs during the 3rd Annual H-G Festival in Paso Robles,Calif. Due to overwhelming crowd response and fan requests, SNUBNOSE 32 hasbeen asked to headline the 4th Annual H-G Festival, set to take place in June '99. In addition to touring, SNUBNOSE 32 is receiving airplay for the cut, "ThisHead," on KZOZ 93.3 FM's "Z at Night Show" in San Luis Obispo. Cal Poly StateUniversity's radio station, KCPR 91.3 FM, has given the demo airplay on itspunk/hardcore/oi show, "Obsolete Absolute," hardcore show "Angst Ridden" and"Local Beat" show.
