Artist description
Ruby Dune is an explosive combination of classic rock, funk, and pop all rolled into one. Improvisation is key to the core of the band as they jam in the style of the Grateful Dead and Phish. Audiences always want more when the band closes out a set. The sound has been described as 'musical euphoria.' Playing shows with such jam-band greats as Jiggle the Handle (Boston) and The Living Daylights (Seattle) have proven to be learning experiences that have shaped the band musically and in their performance habits. Ruby Dune has a strong following in western Massachusetts. People are constantly catching on to the groove. They are now listed on About.com’s “bands to go see in Western Mass” list on the World Wide Web. More recently have been featured on another online site, Jam Radio, an Internet radio show. 'There is no feeling higher than being in a band that makes great music and puts on a great show. We thoroughly enjoy what we do and when we take the stage, the audience can see it too.' Vin D'Agostino (drummer) |
