Four-piece band combining old-school funk music from the 70's and 80's with hip-hop from the 80's and early 90's. The samples are minimal, and everybody plays instruments. We will be here for the rebirth of funk. |

Artist History
Formed in 1997 by solo hip-hop artist K.R.O. and members of local Philadelphia funk/rock bands to provide the old-school groove vibe to the Philadelphia scene. Currently have recorded three albums, two hip-hop albums under the name K.R.O. and one under K.R.O. and the House Band of the Apocalypse. Two additional albums, one under K.R.O. and one under the band name will be released by July of 1999. The band currently plays the Philadelphia area, has received radio play all around the world, and is scheduling dates outside of the Philadelphia area. |
