And despite the resonance that surfaced even more so than in their usual local gigs, Inside Scarlet never once seemed to be playing for industry attention. In fact, the act made it quite obvious this was for fun--and for the overwhelming amount of present fans who have supported them. Nevertheless, by the second song of their setlist, "September" (easily their best song and most obvious first single), the label godheads could've waved their business cards and stopped the show right there.
