Artist description
What kind of day are you having? You just wrapped your new car around a tree, your wife left you, your girlfriend just put out a contract on you, you’ve been kidnapped by aliens, and your house is falling down around your ears. Well that’s some day, but don’t despair, you’re not alone, because these are just some of the ingredients that make up Home Cooking’s "A Recipe For Disaster", a slice of life served up in a rich sauce of swinging country blues. Currently based in Geneva, where you couldn’t get arrested playing music like this, and looking to expand our horizons (and possibly even get a life), Home Cooking are available for festivals, clubs, pubs, weddings, funerals and barmizvahs. This band will keep you dancing all the way to the nut house. |

The sick minds responsible for all of this are Tony Arnold (singer/songwriter/guitar) and John Messersmith (singer/producer/sound engineer/bass) and a loose collection of gifted musicians that wander in and out from time to time. Tony is a veteran of a thousand London pub gigs (adept at dodging flying objects) and a prolific writer of highly original songs. John is veteran of a thousand European gigs as player, sound engineer and producer and has been known to write songs that hardly anybody understands. |
