Artist description
Brother’s Keeper took the hardcore scene by storm a year ago with the release of their album, “The Continuum.” Immediately afterwards they set out on a full United States tour with label mates Harvest and Despair. The success stretched all the way out to Europe also when Warner Brother’s own The Ryker’s invited them on a five week European tour. Needless to say, Brother’s Keeper are no stranger to the road. They followed these tours up with some dates with Strife, Turmoil, Snapcase, Madball, Integrity, and just got home from a 30 date tour of the U.S. with One King Down.
Brother’s Keeper’s live show is a force to be reckoned with as well. When you write entire albums of songs that you can easily dance to, it’s quite difficult to calm down the hundreds of kids jumping up and down and singing along. But the kids who are having the most fun, are the five who are playing the music. Each one of them has a love for hardcore that is unequaled by any other band. Watching
five guys on stage with smiles plastered on their faces as they are bombarded
by kids singing along is what sets them apart. Brother’s Keeper is about
having fun and that’s exactly what they want from their live show... for
every kid to go home knowing they saw a kick ass band and had a great
time. And they do. |

Press Reviews
Sliver (#3 January 1998)
Finally it came out, and I am a happy camper. These hardcore badboys keep it real to say the least. Brother's Keeper is one of my favorite bands, and they never fail to impress. This release took a bit of coaxing because I was so attached to their previous release, The Continuum. Soon after a few listens I was hooked, and now have both CD's constantly by the stereo. Brother's Keeper are heavy, energetic, and in your face. Self Fulfilling Prophecy hits hard with extremely technical guitars, and crazy vocals. This is the closest you will get to hearing their live set because it sounds just like it. |
