Artist History
It all started back in April, 2000, when William Campana (bigWill) was playing in a band with a couple of friends from Bay Park. After becoming bored of playing with a beat machine, he came across GFI guitarist, Eric Lukasic (Schlong) and asked him to fill in on drums, since he played drums before for a couple of bands in Wisconsin. BigWill and Schlong started jamming on a regular basis and just started to click. Together they practiced and wrote a couple songs until they found bassist, Dan Shore and singer/guitarist, Cody Laing through an ad in the Reader. ** Once ThreeFoot was created, they started writing more songs and started playing shows right off the bat. Only after 4 shows they started to record their debut album "Too Big To Hide" at Double Time Studios with Jeff Forrest in June of 2000. Soon after the album was recorded ThreeFoot decided to hand them out for free at all their shows and it was a big success. Only nine shows into the CD promotion, singer/guitarist, Cody left the band to pursue other ventures as a roadie for his friend's band. Without a singer ThreeFoot was forced to put their shows on hold and decided to have tryouts for singers. ** In November, two months into the auditions, ThreeFoot was surprised to find ex-Fat Chance frontman, Zach Foco (Twenty Won), replying to the ad they had placed in the Reader. Since ThreeFoot had been such big fans of Fat Chance, Zach got the job almost immediately, taking up the guitar and vocal duties for the band. Not too soon after booking a couple of shows with new frontman, Twenty Won, at the microphone, bassist, Dan Shore decided he didn't want to be in the band anymore and quit ThreeFoot. The band continued on as a three-piece with Zach on bass for a while until their first show at the Epicentre when BigWill asked his old jammin' buddy, Brian Lee, to quit his band, 3 Hits Max, to come play for ThreeFoot. Brian accepted and he fit perfectly. ** For a little over six months, ThreeFoot played several shows trying to get their name out to the public and started writing new songs. In July of 2001 they decided it was time to record their second album, "Not About You", but there was a problem. A week before they were scheduled to record at Double Time Studios, again with Jeff Forrest, Brian Lee, decided it was time to start a family and quit the band. The remaining members still managed to crank out their second effort in only 20 hours, with Zach doing the basslines for the recording. After mastering "Not About You" and getting ready to release it, ThreeFoot realized it was time to find another bass player. ** They started holding auditions and BigWill contacted long-time ThreeFoot fan, Jimy Cecchini (g*spot) from Big Deel, and asked him to try-out for the band in August. Jimy learned all the songs 3 nights before the big show at Dream Street with Marky Ramone and filled the spot nicely. With a new bassist and a new album, ThreeFoot started back up again at full force, playing more shows and promoting "Not About You". ** ThreeFoot is now currently working on material for their new cd hoping for a CD release sometime late next year...

Press Reviews
"The energetic full-length from this San Diego-based quartet has enough punk/pop power to demo a nightclub. With an urgent sound and an upbeat tempo that calls forth comparisions to Fenix Tx and Sum 41, this is destined to become one of Southern California's most popular acts. Quick guitar riffs, powerful drums and great backing vocals dominate most of the songs on this CD with the real standouts being the opening track, "Fun Addiction", the anthem-like "Bombs Away", and the punkish ballad "So Long, So Wrong". If there is a drawback to this album it's that most of songs sound quite similar. On the other hand, if it's a good sound, nobody gives a damn. Hopefully the boys' prophetic final track, "1-800-NEED-A-HIT", will strike a resonant chord with the radio industry." - DUG (Skratch Magazine)____________
"With their sophomore release "Not About You," the San Diego boys in ThreeFoot return with a revamped (and greatly improved) line-up, following their 2000 full length, "Too Big to Hide." Added to the mix are bass player Jimy Cecchini (ex-Big Deel) and singer/guitarist Zach Foco (ex-Fat Chance). Zach's vocal range and emotional inflection are a noticeable and welcome change over the previous record. ThreeFoot, here, delivers ten guitar driven pop-punk tunes. And it is the guitar work that is a distinct feature of ThreeFoot, with Zach and singer/guitarist Will Campana punching out and incredibly full, wall of guitars. The fat guitar sound is reminiscent of another veteran San Diego band, Fluf. ThreeFoot tops off their guitar slinging with a rock and roll guitar solo, filled with a feeling of urgency on the hard hitting "Bombs Away." The subject matter of the songs carry consistent themes such as girls, relationships, heartache and rejection. This makes for a sort of pop-punk concept album. Every song tells a story, the same story essentially: boy gets girl, boy loses girl. The songs are well crafted, replete with harmonized vocals on songs such as "After Four" and "Las Vegas High." Zach and Will's interchanging vocals bring to mind the technique of singing in a round that is employed frequently by Hopeless Records' Digger. The rhythm section of bass player Jimy and drummer Eric Lukasic provide the backbone of the soundscape. Perfectly timed stops and hardcore style mini-breakdowns on "So Wrong, So Long" show off how well the band plays together as a tightly structured unit. This cd comes highly recommended. - Jeff Proctor (Underfoot Records review)____________
