Artist History
This Afternoon is a melodic, emo influenced rock band from Syracuse, NY. Throughout their 2 year existence they have drawn comparisons to acts such as Texas is the Reason, Jimmy Eat World, The Get Up Kids and Saves the Day.
This Afternoon has taken their unique sound and high energy live show all over, touring frequently through various cities. Through this touring they have shared the stage with many big acts, and have landed on many prominent shows including SUNY Albany's Parkfest 2002 (featuring artists such as Thursday, Dropkick Murphy's, Das Efx, Dashboard Confessional and Piebald) and were also featured on the 3 day long Hellfest 2002, which is the upstate new york's largest hardcore/punk festival.
The band has three records to their credit. 2000's, When Everything is Seven (independent), 2001's Ep, Made by Make Believe (Last One Chosen), and 2002's, If We Gave Up Now (Emplane Music) |
