Artist History
The Foster Brothers begin back in the fall of 1995 as a duo dedicated to Delta and Texas Blues and Classic Rock. A chance meeting with a drummer friend a couple of months later led to the formation of the trio. In 1996, "Playground", a Columbus, GA based entertainment magazine ran a story about the band, and later that year the band was selected as one of the Columbus Area's Favorite Bands. Rick has been selected three times as one of Columbus Area's Favorite Guitarist, and Tom was selected as one of the Columbus Area's Favorite Overall Instrumentalist. With this publicity, paired with the bands high-energy stage show, has made The Rick Dracup Band (formely Foster Brothers) one of the most active bands in the region. |
