    Artist description
Attention Bedrocks fans old and new. It's been a long time hasn't it? Too long I say. Over the years many people have asked me where they could get a copy of 'Something Different'. Seems they wore out their tapes.Well, thanks to the wonders of MP3 you can now purchase a copy of Something Different 2000. Not only do you get the original 10 songs from the album but I've gone into the vault and pulled 6 additional unreleased tracks. Here's the scoop on the 'new' stuff:"Invalid": Recorded at my house on my ancient Fostex F-15 4-track. The quality is outstanding considering the equipment we used to record with. "Don't Call Me Names", "You Won't Be Happy" and "Racing Toward Death": These were all recorded live by Keith Veshecco and John Mazza at the now infamous 'Men Without Work' benefit concert. Although lacking the patented Knobs Herringbone vocal echoizations this recording really captures the power and fury of the band. "Mommie Was A Commie": I had to put this one on even though the quality is not that great. "Ghost Town": One of the last original Bedrocks tunes. This one and 'Commie' were recorded in my basement on 4-track for our never released 'Loud Bashing Music' album. I'll tell you, going through the archives after all these years brought back some great memories and I hope listening to the songs again will do the same for you.I know I've ommitted some classics. If you want to see a particular song on this site send me an e-mail and I'll put it out here for you if I have it. So waddya waitin' for? Buy the CD!!!! And make sure to click on Song Story for each of the songs. I added quite a few notes on how we recorded different things and a couple groovy anecdotes from good old Norb's Bar. I hope to have some pics out here soon for you too! Love,Tony
