    Artist History
Singer/Songwriter Robert Schilling began his music career in South Brunswick, NJ as a keyboardist for Colors Of A New Flag (1986-1988) while still in high school. He later switched over to bass guitar, as the band became Four Calling Birds (1989), and lastly, Infinite Touch (1990-1998). His years with Infinite Touch produced several memorable moments including performances at The Stone Pony (Asbury Park, NJ), Club Bene (South Amboy, NJ), The Bitter End and Catch A Rising Star (New York City). The band also recorded four independently released CDs and produced a music video. In 1996, Infinite Touch won the Gold Summit Creative Award for their multimedia CD “The Other Side Of The Window” (1995). In August 2000, Robert released his first solo, self-titled CD. Produced by Jon Gorr Custom Music, this project featured some of Pittsburgh’s finest musicians. In July 2001, however, Robert signed a long-term music publishing deal with ATTACKIN' TUNES, a partner of Cherry Lane Music Publishing, Inc. Robert Schilling is a full voting member of The Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) and the Songwriter's Guild of America (SGA). He has three degrees from Univ. of Pittsburgh (MBA, MS, BA) and a Bachelor of Music (BM) from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

    Press Reviews
"Who knows what to make of Robert Schilling? He'll play Southern-fried Boogie Rock, sing like a fey Englishman, flirt with big, anthemic guitar riffs and then jauntily descend into lighter pop progressions. He's a consummate craftsman and original songwriter, this Schilling."--Will Lerner, Listen.com, Sept. 2000"................."Robert Schilling's new album is a moody and atmospheric collection of original music reminiscent of the late great John Lennon's work as well as some other influential artists in Rock history. His strengths are in his potent poetical imagery as well as his adept musical phrasing which goes far beyond the relatively simple structures of many budding musicians. The overall mood of the album is a serious although quizzical attitude about the world we inhabit and its denizens. Although he is passionate about his use of words which convey scenes dark with somber overtones and sometimes bleak desolation, the pictures he paints are not altogether despairing. Within each is that which replicates the human condition itself and that is the ability to see beyond the disappointments of this existence to the light of hope within us all." -- David Galvan, ToTheBone.com, Oct. 2000
