Artist History Richard E. Roth studied piano and sound engineering at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin (College of Arts), and graduated in 1989 with a major in sound engineering as a Diplom-Tonmeister. Since then, he has worked as a producer, engineer and composer in the music and film business. He has participated in several collaborations with Christopher Franke (Ex-Tangerine Dream).Richard E. Roth moved to Los Angeles in 1991 where he continued his work.
