Artist History PHOENIKS started out back in 1981 with Drummer Ken (Rob) Rath, Guitarist Mike Magee and Vocalist Ron Fewerda. The trio worked on a number of songs from 1981 - 1983. Around mid 1983 Ron left the band to pursue other interests. Ken and Mike remained with PHOENIKS and continued working on new songs. Together they performed two live concerts in 1983. The duo continued until 1986, when the band went into "hiatus" for almost 16 years. With a renewed interest in music and a wish to "continue where they left off", Ken and Mike reunited in August 2002. Since then they have been working on new material for their new CD called "REBIRTH".
